June 22, 2019- The service was probably the worse I’ve ever seen. There was no salt or pepper on the table. The waiter put the food down and walked away quickly before I could ask for mayo/mustard for my burger so I ate it dry. ( besides the one side of ketchup for the tots) Wanted to ask for more ketchup but the waiter never asked how anything was nor stopped by my table the entire meal. No straw for my drink. Everyone ignored me when I first walked in and then seated me finally. The good part? The food is excellent. Kudos to the ingredients, chef and quality of meat. If the staff got training, this place could rock. One of the few times I “wanted” to leave no tip.

One star service, Five star food. I go to Tom’s Urban in the Westin at least once a week due to constant travel. The food is always good but the service is awful. Doesn’t matter what day, what time or how busy they appear to be. We always have to wait to get served and usually have to ask to order, for refills and for our check. If this place got a staff that knew how to serve it would be amazing.

I arrived at the restaurant at 7pm in Fri May 24, 2019. The service was utter chaos. I sat at one of the high tables by the doors. I was ignored for a solid 5 minutes until a waiter ran by & asked what I wanted to order. It wasn’t even his station. I had to get my drink from the bar which had sat there for 5 min until I rescued it. My steak came, late, though I must admit it was perfectly well cooked. The only waiter with any ability or competence or cool was Nick, the bartender. Professional, able to recommend a good glass of wine; he salvaged the dinner. But the restaurant needs MUCH tighter management. It wasn’t even full! Your dessert options are pathetic. There is really no reason, at all, to visit this restaurant. Whoever owns/manages & eats at this place is wasting his money.

After sitting with an empty beer glass for longer than I should have, I asked another bartender for a refill and was told she would get my bartender!! Really, you can’t pour me a beer? I then waited for MY bartender and he didn’t show up. I noticed what appeared to be a manager and asked him. He said he was not a manager but was in charge of HR!! Another Really!! Anyway he did go talk to her and we got the cold shoulder from her! MY bartender did show up 15-20 minutes later and obviously wanted to go home. He took my order and closed out. The girl avoided us until we left!!

Food was actually really good, but the service was awful. We got the chicken bites from the kids menu for my daughter and they were really bland. Almost had no flavor at all but they were supposed to come with bbq sauce. We asked for the missing sauce which took about 20 minutes to get. It was almost worth it because the sauce was delicious. Very nice staff too, seems the staff are just not very experienced because of the long waiting. In the end, the food is good, but be prepared to wait for anything you ask for or order.
